Responsibilities include and may be modified from time to time:
- Maintain project schedule and keep it updated including three weeks look ahead.
- Manage crews, including project engineers and foreman.
- Coordinate with project manager on schedule and activities.
- Schedule, manage, and track subcontractors progress on the project.
- Schedule and coordinate deliveries to site.
- Coordinate with proper agencies for compliance with project documents and specifications.
- Responsible for quality control of entire project including subcontractors.
- Ensure project safety protocols are being met.
You must possess the following skills to work in this position:
- 5 years minimum superintendent experience on construction projects.
- Knowledge of construction, means and methods, scheduling, and coordination.
- Comprehensive knowledge reading and understanding project drawings and specifications.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Project.
- Strong management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with project manager to identify cost savings.
